LEATHER CARE

Leather is a natural product with all its advantages such as breathable, temperature-regulating, windproof, durable and easy to care. Each leather skin is unique! Different skin structures and color variations are natural characteristics of leather products and by that they differentiate themselves from imitations.

Leather must get treated correctly, so that you can enjoy your leather jacket for a long time!!

Our tips for the best use of your leather jacket:

  • We recommend that you impregnate your leather jacket before wearing it for the first time! Leather is already naturally water repellent. Please keep in mind, despite you carefully impregnate the leather jacket, it will never replace a raincoat!
  • If the leather jacket is wet, let it dry out at room temperature. Never expose the wet jacket to a heat source such as heaters or hot air, as the leather will dry out and become hard.
  • Dirt stains try to wipe away gently with a cotton towel.
  • If the dirt stains do not get removed, please bring your jacket to a special leather dry clean shop. Leather jackets are not washable (take note of the care symbols in your jacket).

Store your leather jacket in a cool and dry place. Best you put it on your hanger into your cupboard or wardrobe. Never expose the leather jacket to direct sunlight for longer periods of time or leave it in the car for weeks.

No Heater

Placing it by a heater or dryer is a no-go. It may dry a leather and crack it’s surface.

No Washing machine

No washing. No dry cleaning. Call a leather cleaning expert, if your garment requires extra care.

Cool and Dry place

Store your jacket in a cool, dry place, inside a cloth bag, preferably on a hanger. Lay your other garments flat between layers of cotton.

Wipe and buff your garment with a soft, dry, cotton cloth to clean and maintain it.
